ABZ Innovation Launches C30 Industrial Spray Drone to Transform High-Altitude Maintenance

European drone manufacturer ABZ Innovation has officially introduced the C30, a heavy-duty industrial water jetting drone engineered specifically to tackle high-altitude cleaning challenges on complex infrastructure. Unveiled on October 23, 2026, the advanced aerial platform is designed to clean steel structures, massive storage tanks, industrial silos, wind turbine blades, and soaring architectural facades that have historically required hazardous, time-consuming, and expensive methods such as scaffolding, construction cranes, or manual rope access.

Developed and manufactured at the company’s facility in Szentendre, Hungary—which opened in September as one of Europe’s largest civilian drone production plants—the C30 represents a major evolutionary step for heavy-lift industrial applications. When integrated with specialized ground support equipment, the aircraft operates under immense system pressure, reaching up to 500 bar, equivalent to 7,250 pounds per square inch, while delivering up to 30 liters, or 7.9 gallons, of water per minute. Capable of performing precision cleaning operations at heights of up to 120 meters, or 394 feet, the drone is built to remove decades of stubborn industrial contamination without putting human workers at risk.

Károly Ludvigh, chief executive and co-founder of ABZ Innovation, emphasized the distinct mechanical nature of the new aircraft during its market introduction. Highlighting the engineering philosophy behind the machine, Ludvigh noted that the C30 is not simply a standard aerial photography platform equipped with a water hose, but rather a dedicated, highly powerful cleaning machine capable of sustained flight. Reflecting on its initial deployment in a real-world industrial environment, he pointed out that the aircraft successfully stripped away 30 years of accumulated dirt and grime from an industrial building facade in less than a single working day, entirely eliminating the need for personnel to climb heights.

C30 Cleaning Drone Specifications

The underlying mechanics of the C30 rely on a straightforward yet highly effective physical principle: tremendous pressure actively cracks stubborn deposits, weathered coatings, and deeply embedded rust away from a substrate, while high water flow immediately flushes the debris clear of the working zone. According to engineering data provided by ABZ Innovation, this dual-action mechanism delivers up to four times the cleaning performance of conventional low-pressure methods.

For the vast majority of standard industrial assignments, the system operates efficiently using pure water alone, completely bypassing the need for harsh chemical detergents that can pose environmental hazards or complicate wastewater management. However, when deployed against specialized petroleum-based contaminants such as heavy oil, fuel residues, and stubborn grease, the system is capable of running hot water heated to between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius, translating to 158 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit.

To maintain operational safety and precision while operating under extreme reactive forces, the C30 utilizes sophisticated radar-based distance control systems that maintain a perfectly constant standoff distance from the target surface. Furthermore, the aircraft features a robustly sealed airframe specifically engineered to withstand continuous high-pressure spray, moisture, and high-humidity environments.

ABZ Innovation offers the C30 in two distinct operational configurations to suit varying facility requirements. The Compact configuration is designed to deliver 500 bar of pressure at a flow rate of 15 liters, or 4 gallons, per minute. Meanwhile, the Maximum Industrial configuration scales up performance to the full operational limit, maintaining the same 500 bar pressure while increasing water output to 30 liters, or 7.9 gallons, per minute. Together, these configurations allow operators to address a diverse spectrum of heavy-duty tasks, ranging from the maintenance of heavy machinery and paint removal to the thorough washing of towering steel frameworks, industrial storage tanks, and renewable energy infrastructure.

ABZ Innovation Launches C30 Industrial Spray Drone in Hungary

The introduction of the C30 expands ABZ Innovation’s established C-Series product line, joining the EU C5-certified C10 drone. While the smaller C10 remains the company’s precision tool of choice for delicate and targeted work on glass surfaces, architectural facades, commercial roofs, and large solar panel arrays up to 60 meters, or 197 feet, the new C30 is purposefully built to shoulder heavier, more demanding industrial workloads.

Field Results in Visonta, Hungary

Ahead of its commercial launch, ABZ Innovation put the C30 through rigorous field trials at an active industrial site located in Visonta, Hungary. On a challenging 600-square-meter, or 6,460-square-foot, building facade that carried an estimated three decades of bonded carbon and atmospheric pollution, the drone successfully completed the entire cleaning operation in less than one working day. The efficiency of the aerial platform starkly contrasted with traditional methods; by comparison, a professional scaffolding contractor had previously estimated that setting up equipment and executing the same surface cleaning project would take roughly a full week.

In a separate detailed case study conducted at the Viresol facility, also located in Visonta, the C30 demonstrated its capability on an elevated industrial structure contaminated by organic residues. Spills from a nearby mash storage tank had leaked onto the surface and baked hard under environmental exposure over a period of seven to eight years.

To power the system during this demanding test, operators utilized a diesel-driven Trail Jet 30 high-pressure unit stationed on the ground. A lightweight 10-millimeter, or 0.4-inch, high-pressure hose supplied water upward to the hovering drone, which was equipped with a 2.3-meter, or 7.5-foot, spray lance terminated with a rotary pinpoint nozzle rated to withstand up to 600 bar, or 8,700 psi. According to reports from ABZ Innovation, the drone successfully cleaned a substantial portion of the tank’s heavily fouled surface area in approximately an hour and a half, entirely omitting the use of chemical cleaning agents.

Availability

The C30 industrial cleaning drone is currently available for order through ABZ Innovation’s established network of distribution and service partners spanning more than 40 countries worldwide. The manufacturer provides comprehensive operator training programs, readily available spare parts inventories, and long-term technical support to ensure safe and efficient deployment in the field.

Production of the drone takes place at the company’s newly established Szentendre manufacturing facility in Hungary, which opened in September as one of the largest civilian drone production plants in Europe. North American industry professionals and prospective operators will have the opportunity to observe the C30 in live flight demonstrations at the upcoming ElevateUAV 2026 conference in Florida, scheduled for November 17 and 18. Additional technical documentation, case studies, and specifications can be accessed directly through the ABZ Innovation website.
